Set up in 2001 to meet the product conformity needs of local manufacturers, LNE Asia provides a complete range of services including :

that ensure product conformity.
LNE Asia works with a network of expert technical partners. Its inspection and laboratory technicians have been specially trained and audited by LNE France.
LNE Asia Ltd is a joint venture between LNE (Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d’Essais, France) and Hong Kong testing laboratory CMA Testing (CMA Industrial Development Foundation Ltd). LNE Asia has offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and works in partnership with 14 Asian inspection service centres based in China, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Its services cover the needs of companies producing toys, food contact articles, tools, gardening equipment, small electrical household appliances, luminaires and tableware.
LNE
LNE is one of the leading calibration, training, technical assistance, testing and certification bodies in Europe.
It is recognized at European level as a notified body for numerous European Directives (toys, EMC, low voltage, etc.), issuing certification for CE marking, and is recognized at national level by COFRAC, the French accreditation body for calibration, testing and certification laboratories.
LNE employs some 780 staff, two thirds of whom are engineers and senior technicians. It works in six core sectors: consumer products, medical/health products, packaging/packing, environment, housing/construction and transport.
CMA
CMA Industrial Development Foundation Limited (CMA Testing) is a leading independent quality assurance organization in Hong Kong. CMA Testing was established in 1979 by The Chinese Manufacturers Association of Hong Kong, which is one of the largest and oldest Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizations of Hong Kong.
CMA Testing is a Dynamic Quality Team comprised of experts in various technical and professional fields. It offers accredited third-party quality assurance services, including testing, inspection and certification services, based on internationally recognized standards.
With continuous investment in advanced facilities, CMA Testing conducts testing for toys, children's articles, electrical and electronic products, textile garment, food, cosmetic, traditional Chinese medicine, chemicals, wastewater, and more.
